BEAR IN LOVE by Daniel Pinkwater
Bear finds a tasty, crunchy orange food outside of his cave, and he wonders who might have left him such a delicious treat. When the tasty gifts keep coming, he starts leaving things for his mysterious friend in return. The gifts get more and more delicious, and soon Bear is determined to find out who is leaving him these presents, even if it means he has to stay up all night waiting.
This new picture book from Daniel Pinkwater tells an adorable story with equally adorable illustrations. It would be great for a preschool storytime on love and/or friendship.
